Welcome!
It is our prayer that as you search this website you will desire to know more about us. We think it would be wonderful if God touched your heart and led you to come and worship with us! Our people will welcome you and make you feel at home as you worship with us.
Because the Deaf have a common language and a close bond we desire to minister to the community as a whole. It is our desire to transcend racial, denominational, and socioeconomic lines in order to reach people. We want to be inclusive of all those who desire to fellowship, and follow the Lord! Our Lord Jesus never told us to select those we think would, fit in
. Rather, the Lord Jesus gave us these instructions. Jesus said to His followers, Go everywhere in the world, and tell the Good News to everyone. (Mark 16:15 New Century Version)
Our purpose in Deaf ministry at Antioch:
- To help guide people to the knowledge of the saving grace of God.
- Together as a body of believers develop a strong, intimate, and growing relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
- To meet together for spiritually vibrant Bible studies and worship services.
- Empower Deaf believers to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
- Train Deaf members to use their talents and abilities to serve others in the Antioch church family, our community, and throughout the world.
Special Events and Activities:
- Frequently we plan activities to bring our church and community together to promote fellowship in the Lord.
- We have a Deaf community event quarterly to maintain closeness to our Deaf community.
