Antioch Baptist Church has a wonderful, rich heritage much like the olive branch. This is why we chose the olive branch as our logo. It symbolizes who we are. In the first century the olive tree flourished in the region where the first Antioch Church was established. God's grace was seen upon those believers at Antioch who were first called Christians.

Our Church continues in that same rich vein. The olive branch has long been a symbol of friendship and peace. When strangers entered the home of one of those first century believers at Antioch, they would receive the refreshing oil of the olive upon their heads. Antioch offers friendship and peace to everyone through Jesus Christ. We have a warm and friendly atmosphere that encourages worship toward God and edification toward man. We will refresh the souls of all who enter into our Church family. The olive branch with its fruit symbolizes wealth and plenty. The spiritual wealth of our Church creates a healthy and vibrant spirit. The oil of the olive tree is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Every believer has the indwelling Holy Spirit and Antioch depends upon the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us as we carry out the plan of God. Our roots run deep in Christ and His Word. Like the olive tree we'll be around until Jesus returns. Come and join us.
